Small projects

Single-purpose tools that don't need a page each. Most of them fix one small annoyance and then stay out of the way.

When you connect Bluetooth headphones, macOS sometimes opens the Music app and starts playing. NoMacMusic prevents the Music app from launching.

The idea comes from noTunes, but NoMacMusic keeps things simpler. The launcher and the background process are separate, so it uses almost no resources.

  • No GUI, no icon, no Dock entry, just a background process
  • Nothing to configure; install it and forget about it
  • Install and uninstall with a single command
  • Download size 61 KB, 382 KB on disk, 0% CPU, about 7 MB of RAM

HTTP Header Modifier

Chrome extension that adds, changes or removes request headers on the URLs you choose.

Runs on
Chrome
Built with
JavaScript
Since
2025

Set a URL pattern, list the headers you want added, changed or removed, and the extension applies them to every matching request. Rules are saved, and the popup shows which ones are active.

  • Several header changes per URL pattern
  • Wildcard patterns, for example *://*.example.com/* for a domain and its subdomains, or *://api.example.com/* for one host
  • Rules persist between browser sessions
